What are you getting for error messages when it doesn't flash?
Didn't know of an App called Blackout...thought you were talking about your screen going Black...

I noticed most of the TBO apps are for 4.2 and up. Make sure the apps you are trying are for 4.1.

I use Titanium to uninstall the current Gmail' then reboot to SS and wipe cache/dalvik and reboot.
Then you can install and sync the blacked out Gmail.

It's an app that is packaged with this ROM. Looks for the app "TBO". Team Black Out has taken a bunch of apps and modified them to have black or clear backgrounds. I like the black apps, very slick!

To the post above, for the Gmail app I uninstalled and cleared data just in Titanium. Did not need to wipe inSS (but you you could).  Then you should be able to install black Gmail.  I have not done Play yet but will...

Anyone use the jbx kernel with this rom with any success? I've had big profits using it with another rom (Carbon) but also understand any and all cpu tweaks should be removed ahead of time and was curious if people were able to successfully do this, if so any particular steps to take? Thanks!

Jbx I don't believe is for the stock ROMs. You need to be on AOSP to avoid problems I believe.

Jbx only works with aosp based ROMs. The dev has been working on a stock compatible version for quite some time though.

You should be able to. I have issues when I go to flash a new we ROM so the last couple of times I've had to use Matt's utility before I flashed.

Yes you can flash over 2.0 to 2.2
..No issues all...Clear both Caches...Flash 2.2...

Reboot

Titanium... Gmail...Delete Data first...then uninstall Gmail

find TBO...Install your choice

I've installed Blackout Wicked Nice
