SafeStrap Backups not appearing in Restore

I have been banging my head against the wall here..

I am trying to backup a phone that is going back to verizon and restore it to the new one they cross-shipped me (Same model).

When I go into Safestrap recover, the backup just isn't there!

What the heck, I've never had this problem with SS on my OG Razr MAXX.

I'm gonna assume based on your situation you made the backup on ext SD card. Did you verify the backup with a file explorer? If so you can go to the restore menu in ss and select internal then external and see if it shows up. This happened to me once and that worked for me. I don't know why it glitches sometimes. I hope this helps.

I am pretty sure that trying to restore a SS backup on a different device is not the best thing to do
