I used Radiocomm to unlock my M and am currently running on AT&T.

I usedthe same program but the signal was always weak n then I was updating the phone n it stop picking up signal

I also updated my phone and lost my connection. It took a lot of work to get it back. I still get notified about updating my phone and would like to get rid of the verizon ties.

Use titanium backup to freeze the updater.apk and it will stop pestering you

I am not finding updater.apk with Titanium, do I need to get the pro version for this?

You will need pro because its a system apk. Its worth the $4.99.

if you are going to spend the money for titanium backup you should just go with rom toolbox pro. also anytime the radio gets updated you have to redo the unlock
