No one should ever listen to this guy ^^^^^

He never knows what he's talking about and has been running around giving bad advice to everyone for quite some time now. He has been a nuisance that this site just can't get rid of for some reason, like an annoying disease that just keeps coming back. Like herpes. _base2 is herpes. That is all.....

LOL had to mess with ya.

Hey now.... watch it! lol

Btw doesn't it sound like a path issue to you? People have been doing that w Matts utility lately - just downloading, clicking and running the .bat but not extracting the files so the references are off and it can't find the /files folder or its contents

I cant shut the phone completely down it wont let me.

the phone should power down from FastBoot Menu with just a press of the power button. Just make sure the phone is unplugged from everything when you do that. When you plug it into your AC adapter the MOTO Logo will light first, this is normal and it dowsn't mean your phone is booting up. Shortly after that you should see your battery icon and then the screen will go black. That is also normal. You can check the charge level by momentarily pressing the power button and will see your battery charge icon. It's very important to have an adequate charge, some DEVs recommend 70% or greater when you are doing these operations. I've been where you are when I tried to flash the Gen X theme for ICS and I got the same results you did. I got it recovered but I stay awayfrom themes that don't come with the ROM. That's my choice, not a knock on the people who write them.

Did you download the torrent? Just did a Google search just then and saw that its a common error with utorrent and winrar. There appear to be fixes all over the place but I'm on my phone and don't run windows soooo I can't really help much w that unfortunately
