So AndroidGuys is reporting that November 5th could be the date of the rumored 5 new Nexus devices. This would be fitting since it would most likely coincide with the launch of Android 5.0 Jelly Bean, AND it would be the 5th anniversary of the Android operating system. Coincidence? Guess we'll have to wait and see.

Is Jelly Bean really going to be 5.0? Seems like it should be 4.1... at this rate Google will be at Xylophone (I know its not a dessert) on Android 142.0 by August!

I think using larger increments shows a more drastic change. 2.2 to 2.3 was relatively minor, whereas 2.3 to 4.0 was huge (and also allowed for unification of tablets which were on 3.0 - 3.2). Its possible that Jelly Bean will be a maintenance/bugfix sort of release in which case it might get a 4.1.x build. But I'm betting it will be big enough to warrant the 5.0 moniker.
