Im on the latest and greatest...buttery smooth I should say....only thing different is im on the odex.version that I deodexed myself, but that should have no impact on volume...but your welcome to try the deodexed version....I must say and it might just be me....but after deodexing the rom is even smoother

The beanstalk devs are no longer supporting 4.3 so it was discontinued. Sorry buddy.

 

Do you mean that they aren't supporting 4.2? I am interested in this ROM but would hate to have it abandoned before I start using it.

Haha, yes... Sorry for the confusion. They are only supporting 4.3.

this rom look and feels great.. unfortunately i only ran it for a few hrs.. started messing with settings (as you do when you flash a new rom!) but every time i tried changing my dpi (in settings>system>general UI) and then reboot.. it would just loop the animation until i forced it to turn off, turn it on and manually entering into recovery and start again.. wipe everything except sdcard, install rom, gapps, superuser and it would come back on no issue, just couldnt handle it when i tried changing the dpi again! what am i doing wrong.. should i be changing it somewhere else?! or is it just my phone that doesnt like this rom for some reason?!

How long does the front menu usually stay on the beanstalk picture with the rain? my phone wont go past that for some reason.

 

nvm got it to boot, now just need to find the gapps.

Is it just my device or is the in call volume super low even on speaker phone with this rom?  Ive turned all volumes up of coarse without any resolve.

same thing here any fix yet,I had it on cm10.2

how is it possible my phone incall volume is excellent, and I mean better than any other device I have ever owned...wierd....but it is!

Tried ROM again today, still low in call volume, I'm back to Cm10.2---20130814, I've searched several sites for fix. Maybe you can post what your doing to make it work

I have tried every 4.3 rom i can find and have the same problem with all.  The in call volume is low and speakerphone is useless.

Im not doing anything different that the Instructions posted....but my incall volume and speaker phone are excellent..
Isnt cm10.2 a 4.3 rom?

Maybe try turning all your volumes up to max before flashing? Just a thought

That's what I do but no resolve, I'm back to 4.3 cm10.2 --20130814, I really like bean stalk but can't use it yet until I can figure the in call volume thing out, thanks

Somehow the volume level issue is fixed for me.  Not exactly sure of what fixed it though.  I did a few things at the same time.

 

I added to build.prop

ro.config.vc_call_vol_steps=20

 

Also went into DSP manager and turned on everything i could and changed all presets to vocal booster.

 

Or it could just be the latest beanstalk update dated 8/28.

 

I am really loving how solid this rom is but battery life is horrible.  I am averaging 5.5% loss per hour with light to medium use the past couple of days.
