So i'm interested in a lapdock for my maxx. Why...Well i dont need one, but .... Well I just want one, lol

So my question is what do you think is the best lapdock out right now, weather its the 500/100 atrix bionic ect.. Money really dosent matter, although i would like to take into consideration value, ie if the atrix dock is close enough to the 100 but a fraction of the price it would be a better choice. But if the 500 pro just blows them all away,,, well you get the picture.

So give me your thoughts, experiences, ect..

Also what about the set up that has the dock cables, hdmi out, bluetooth keyboard, mouce, and speaker. would this be the way to go?

thanks!

I have a Motorola Lapdock 500 and have no complaints, but I have nothing to compare it to. I have had it a couple months and had no problems with it. I don't use it a lot because I'm usually at home with my laptop and WIFI. I really like the Navigation feature of the Droid Razr Maxx and it's really cool with the Lapdock 500. I have a thick piece of foam rubber that sits on my Tahoe's console and I put the Lapdock on that. I have a FM transmitter device I plug into the Lapdock so I can listen to Pandora while using the navigation app. I can also use it to watch tv from my Slingbox at home.

I have the 500 as well and it is great. Haven't tried anything else so can't compare but i know the 100 is small and i wanted the 500 because it is the size of a regular laptop.

The Lapdock would really be cool for anyone who doesn't have a tethering/hotspot feature and doesn't want to get it "free" through other means.

I have the Lapdock 500 as well. It's great, gives me a full screen to read the paper or surf the web plus it will keep your phone charged while you use it.

Yeah i don't think the 500 is in stock anywhere. One of the authorized resellers in my area has the bionic lap dock for 200.

No overnight this weekend from Amazon though. I ordered some stuff from them earlier today and the best they could do on One Day Shipping is Wednesday. I think Amazon and UPS are closed for Memorial Day. But if it's bought and paid for at least you'll have one by mid week.

Yeah, I got mine from Big Red for $250.00 Still the best price around and they put it on my phone bill. Still the best price I've seen for a brand new one. But they are out of stock at the moment.

You can usually get them on Ebay for $200 or less. New and unopened.

They've been out of stock for months... I was interested in getting one but I wasn't gonna spend over 200$ on it. I was waiting for verizon to get them in stock for so long that I ended up with my sisters old laptop instead. Worked out better for me since I can do development on it. (Muahhaa Ubuntu & Windows Dual Boot).

If I see one for 150$ again though, I'm not gonna hesitate to get one.
