So i just bought this Droid Razrr Maxx HD from my friend because he rooted it and ended up softbricking it from i think trying to flash a rom drive or something. When i ttry to fastboot it says
AP Fastboot Flash Mode (s)
10.9B(*) (sha-le9f557, 013-0-14 09:13:08)
Device is LOCKEDD, status code: 0
Battery low
Connect USB data cable
Fastboot reason: flash failure.
please help guys :/

you need to charge the battery and what are you trying to flash? your bootloader is locked so hopefully he didnt take the update recently

should i charge it in the wall plugin or from usb computer? and im just trying to restore it or make it work again so i can use it as my phone and he did this awhile ago so i dont think theres a update he downloaded

I think wall charger for a while and you need to know what he was running before to use the correct files to reflash cause your locked you can't just use any only the one that the phone is currently on

he said it was a stock rom , and he cant remember what root he used

he also said it was jelly bean 4.two.1 (sorry two button doesnt work) but he said he believes he had a custom recovery installed called safe strap but he couldnt get into it and thats the problem he thinks cuz he thinks when he factory restored it he deleted it. thats about as much as he knows :/

if it was before the end of may probly the first one is what you need after june the second one. your battery needs a good charge in order to use these though

okay when i have it plugged into usb to computer the green light on top of phone turns on acting like its charging so is it? when i plug it into the wall its green for a minute but then it tries to boot or whatever and goes back to the screen i had a problem with sayings its locked or watever, so should i just let it charge through usb? i hope its charging if the green light is on

i would leave it on the cpu charge for a few hours then run the utility good luck

okay i charged it up and downloaded the program and went step by step through the guide and when i pull the program up i tried 1 which is whiping everything or whatever and i put it on fastboot my phone but it ends up going to that same screen saying so i try it anyway and it just says waiting for device after i push any button to active it it says. its not working

any option i go to it goes to the same screen , and also ive ben charging it for hours now . but not its not motorala, im gonna look for one tho
