Question - I nuts some stuff up on set up of the new build, so I did a clean/fresh install.  Then seemed to have noticed a different email app?  Is that my imagination?

Only stock based roms will work on a locked bootloader with safestrap.

somber73 - apologies, sir.  I realized upon arriving home that my short post may have come across as "harsh critique".  It was not, I assure you.  It was in the spirit of WTF!!!  as I have had virtually no issues, BT or otherwise on this ROM.  Sorry if the short note indicated anything other than surprise.

Running Carbon Rom 7/28, 4.2.2 on my Droid Razr HD Maxx.

Took my phone off the charger at 7:30AM and took this screen shot after work @ 6:19PM

Just thought I'd share my incredible battery life and show my appreciation for their hard work. I can literally get 4 days of usage on a single charge.

The only bug I have found is, it sometimes freezes when in my car dock. I use Car Home Ultra and that could possibly be the reason it freezes.

Other than that, this rom has given me absolutely no issues!!

 

I need to point out that I turn my data/sync off during work, except on my breaks and 1 hour for lunch.

Today, I had had several 10 minute calls and a few shorter ones. 10 or so text messages, 15 minutes of Angry Birds, a couple of Youtube videos (ain't nobody got time for that) and 30 minutes on the web.

No one would believe me if I told them, so here's the screen shot:

I forgot to mention that I use "Greenify" and have hibernated almost every possible app that could run in the background. I also use Seeder to reduce lag and suspend it on sleep to conserve battery life even further.

Pretty awesome but what is the total screen-on time? That's the important variable in battery life.

I'm betting on close to, but not over 2 hours of on-screen time. Screen shuts off during calls, so I need to rule them out.

Very very nice glad you like it Just so you know they are making great strides in 4.3 as well.
