My device is running the latest nightly of Cm 10.1 and TWRP. Bootloader obviously unlocked.

On top of CM10.1 I also flashed Crossbreeder

On top of all that I used this script here to odex CM 10.1

I have screen on auto brightness, MSM-DCVS governor, max frequency 1512 MHz, and DEADLINE I/O.

I woke up this morning at 7am and now at 3:30pm i just hit 85% battery life. This thing ZIPS too, no lag. That is with fairly heavy usage as well.

Just wanted to post this in case anyone wanted better than stock battery life on an aftermarket ROM.

I dont see any reason why it shouldnt work. The script just does the odex/deodex and I dont believe anything has changed. Try a post over in XDA if your too nervous to give it a try.

I'm just going to back up and try. I still have to execute it through terminal though right

Ran it and it seemed to work great. I'll have to see how it helps the battery now

I've tried flashing the odex script.. It flashes but when I go to run it in the terminal it says "dexo not found"
This happens after typing "su"

Take a look at the script and see where dexo should be. My guess is you need to change into the correct directory before running the script.
