Neither one of those apps will work on a custom ROM because they are both dependent on Blur.
Ok, thanks. Any ideas of a 3rd party app that supports true non-ADHOC hotspot?

Unfortunately I have no idea, I just always use Wifi Tether that comes with KOA. Foxfi is also a good choice.

Why not use Google voice for just voicemail and the built in tether. Mime work great. If you need help setting either up I will gladly assist as my gvoice works perfect. Press 1 and hold dials voicemail. Very simple. Vvm via the app.y wireless tether that was included in koa 38 works great. I had to play w the settings until I got the right comboI'm on KOA AOKP flashed over .209 and am really wanting the stock Hotspot app as well as Visual Voicemail. Any help? The KOA wifi tether app works only on some devices and not on others, as not all devices support ADHOC.
Thanks in advance

I misunderstood. I just set it up as it is and got it to tether 4g to a friend. Just know when you set Google voice up you have to dl the app. Install it. There will be errors but keep telling it to continue. Then go online to Google voice website and set up a few parameters. After that you may habecto force the Google voice number o your voicemail a a few times until it says voicemail number changed. Then you can dial directly to it. Make sure when you go online to setup. 4 digit password before you try to login via long press 1 on the dialer. It will ask you to dial a number and that number attaches your phone to gvoice. Do it.I'll check out Gvoice. As far as the tether.... I need non ad hoc
I can say a lot of people old me about gvoice a long time ago and last year I converted. Easily carried this same Google voice over 4 phones w 0 issues. After its set up on your phone even a new flash all you have to do it just force the voicemail number to take on the number 1 long press if you want to call in to check voicemail. All this sounds like gibberish I am sure. Just let me know if you have any questions and I can help you get it working. It can frustrating. But free vvm that works awesome is worth it
