I'm stock rooted ics leak 209 I'm looking for a asop ics rom what rom can I use using cwr and not safe strap . Any help would be great

You want to use safestrap as if you mess up you will have to fastboot back and update again. The AOSP rom by dhacker is currently down but you can find it when its back up at rombot.droidhive.com/ROMS/spyder/ics-leak-builds/. There are plenty of flavors there. Good luck.

I just took the safestrap plunge. It was extremely easy.
I went with koa aokp b38b and a sense theme I found in the market.
If you follow his directions in his rom it will tell you step by step how to set it up. I had a problem downloading the safe strap 2.0 from his link but I just Google and found it elsewhere and came by to learn how to use it. Now that its setup its very similar to just standard cwm w the exception you need to format system before flashing forward. After reading about it, safe strap seems to be the thing to go with now especially if you are currently on ics builds.
