Getting ready to root/unlock my Razr Maxx HD
Currently on 9.1.41
Looks like I will need
. It says its for 4.1.2, and I'm on 4.1.1. Is that a problem?
After I have root, then I need to unlock with
If I am going to install some other ROMs, do I still need to do the tether hack? I also want to unlock the GSM capabilities.
I also need to decide on an SU app. I am leaning towards CWM SU, but have read it doesn't uninstall properly. I do like that its open source though...

All of the guides say I need the latest motorola usb drivers, but don't provide a link.
Motorola has:
Motorola Device Manager
Is that what I need?

I can confirm that root and BL unlock worked fine on 9.1.41 (4.1.1)

Now running CM 10.2!
