I only receive sound from the left ear. I've tried cleaning the lint multiple times, but I don't think that's it. I think the headphone jack is damaged.

Does anyone know if I can replace just the jack? I really can't find anything on the Razr M :/

Will the headphone jack from a different droid work? Has anyone tried replacing it? Is is soldered?

There's a big chance that its damaged. You can get a Certified like new replacement phone. I had the same problem so I know how you feel.

Did you try a different headphone set? Would suck taking your phone apart for nothing.

Yes, if you are adept at de-solder and re-solder, you can replace the jack, and yes a jack from another RAZR or HD , or M should work.....

.... you should be having fun ...

Are you sure it requires soldering and desoldering?
