So I'm trying to flash using Fastboot, I have done it before.... So if I restart my phone into Fastboot while plugged into my computer it will read that it is connected to USB if I boot into Fastboot then plug my cable in it just says connect USB data cable.... Either way when trying to use Fastboot it will not recognize my device.... Im currently using beanstalk 4.3.07 rom and twrp 2.6.0.0 .... can anyone tell me what is up with my phone... Plez

You're saying the computer won't recognize the device? You need fastboot drivers to get fastboot to work...

All I got are whatever happens to be the latest moto drivers. When booted all the moto stuff pops up and sees my phone. When in fastboot nothing happens. But I can push with adb just fine and use Matt's utility to restore my phone. When pushing something it searches and finds my phone just fine. To me it sounds normal what your saying is happening. Perhaps your not doing the proper things to open a camand window?

The Motorola drivers include the MOT interface (fastboot) drivers ..... reinstall the drivers (get them from here

)... disable any other Motorola programs such as Motorola device manager.... put phone in AP Fastboot .... plug in to computer... it should install automatically then you should be able to fastboot....

According to Mot, that is not true. They seem to imply that all the drivers you need are within the newest version of the device manager:

DEVICE ID AND UNLOCK KEY

Now that you understand the risks associated with unlocking the bootloader, let’s get started!

First, we’ll need to get your device ready to get the device ID and unlock key. You’ll need to do a few things to get this.

  1. Install the Android SDK.

  2. Install the latest Motorola USB Drivers.

Next, you will need to get your device ID.

TO GET YOUR DEVICE ID
  1. Put your device in fastboot mode (press the power button and volume down button at the same time and connect your device to your computer with a USB cable).
  2. On your computer, open a command prompt or Terminal session.
  3. Go to the Directory where you installed the Android SDK tools, and type: $ fastboot oem get_unlock_data

All I'm saying is.... we have seen times where the Motorola device manager actually hinders the fastboot process (regardless of what Motorola says).... and manually installing/reinstalling the drivers has helped....

I don't use SDK. I use a simple fastboot+adb. Just past what I want to install in the folder hold shift+Ctrl and right click. After right click a window opens with the option to open a camand window. Then I just type fastboot flash and the file name I want to install. Works every time.
