Sorry, but you can't go back to stock, unless you get lucky and someone leaks a tool that allows that to happen. How do i do a hard reset on this phone? Anh idea what day the updat will be hitting? And how can i put my phone back to stock so i can receive the update?
Backup any info you might need, then Goto System settings, privacy, factory data reset.
Personally I would also format internal storage and external storage.
Don't restore any apps that ran on GB onto your ICS install.

Was your phone plugged in? I only ask because I had a phone behaving this way and it ended up being a damaged usb cable.
I was having this same problem and once I unplugged it from the wall charger, it worked just fine.

I did a reset and it seems to have helped for now.
Does'doing a factory reset clear all my current text? Just wondering because I cant afford to lose them atm.

I use SMS Backup+ to automatically backup all of my text messages to my gmail account. It's free and works without thinking about it.
