Well I'm just gonna say either the "official official OTA" will either be delayed and pushed out with a new build number and possibly soak test prior, or we will see .211 pushed out as the OTA and a rather quick update OTA to follow to fix the battery issues. It's apparent there is a battery issue w/ .211 and both Razr's in my possession have suffered.

So I just wanted to get that off my chest and to basically state, don't be surprised when this is delayed.

You must have gotten the same email asking questions as I did.

I noticed my battery on my Maxx was better with .209 than with .211. I installed no new apps either. You may be right.

Haha thanks bro...no rush. I really really appreciate. But I gots a bad feeling about that email that was "supposedly sent out" lol. I really hope they just stick with keeping 211 as the OTA and follow shortly with a battery fix. If they go the route of making a new build as the OTA.....I look fwd to Matt's 1.8 Utility lol

yup, i'd say it may be a min on the ota, or even a diff one. A lot of people seem to be roaring up about the no CDMA only option also (me included) ya, ya i know there is an app, but we shouldnt have to use it for a system setting.

I don't know what people are talking about. Maybe it's because I haven't been on .181 since April, buy my battery life has seemed the same all along. To the op, I don't think they will delay the push or update and resoak. If anything, they'll push it and then update it shortly after.

I certainly hope. Else these devs will be back at square one with their roms lol. From 181 GB to 211 ICS mine and my g/f's RAZR's have definitely suffered a bit on the battery life. Android OS is running a bit more also.

My RAZR has atrocious battery life on 211. Gingerbread had much better battery life.

Yea, I have the Maxx. .211 isn't near as good with batter as .209 and GB was. I hope they fix it.

What ROM is that, got556? I like the look of your battery 1% mod. Got me licking my lips! I have tried Arctic by mattlgroff, but I get a lot of FC's using it.. Which one are you on?

This is a screen I took the other morning. I woke up around 5am for work, unplugged my phone and sat it on the counter. Showered, made coffee, smoked, playing MW3 lol. My normal routine. I left for work around 630am (yea i get up wayyyyyy earlier than I really need to haha) and when I got there this is what I saw. The screen was off that entire time and if I remember correctly, I had smart actions setup to turn off data while the screen is idle.

I don't like to wipe lol. I have too much stuff to set back up. I don't mind wiping cache and dalvik, but I hate wiping data.. Will it install without a data wipe?

You're asking for issues. Just Tibu your apps and then after you wipe and install the update, go to Play, install Tibu, back up apps only (don't back up data, although it probably wouldn't be an issue if you tried data also) and profit.

I too have a bad problem. I did Matts version of the upgrade last night, set up all my apps and did the root. Went to bed at 11:30 with 40% battery after all the mods. Woke up at 6:00 and the phone is DEAD. they don't fire back up until 10% charge. Took awhile. There is no reason I should have lost charge over night that quickly.
