My Razr has been amazing and the devs we have are unreal. W/ that said 4.1 is around the corner for the Galaxy Nexus and man it's got me jonesin to pick one up again. I've heard most of the radio issues have been fixed w/ 4.0.4 for the Gnex and it would be a bit sweet to have the Gnex, my pre-ordered Nexus tab, and Xoom all be on 4.1. I have no doubt it will be at least 6 months before the Razr even sees any official talk about 4.1.

So please all, talk me out of it. This is a great community and I would still stick around due to my g/f having her Razr and both of us running 211 Eclipse 1.1 but like I said, 4.1 has me jonesin.

Go talk to the counsel and Yoda. They will guide you. Maybe a Jedi mind trick will help. I will own a samsung tv or dvd player. But not a phone.

I have both. And yes JB is great on the GNex! Just swap every now and then. It's my way of staying balanced

I think it's more so 4.1 than the Gnex itself. I know our devs will have some awesome ports of JB and the Razr does everything I need it to. Yoda said July I'm booked til.... lol

I said almost that exact same thing on another forum or this site in another thread. Manufacturers should just give up pushing or trying to push ICS. What...the HOX, GNex, GSII, GSIII, and Razr/Maxx are the only phones that have had some sort of ICS, correct? Not many tablets have it either. Most should either just upgrade from GB to JB or just release with JB. I can't believe Google pushed this so quickly. Then again it's been a whole year since we saw ICS and hardly any manufacturer have it on their devices.

Rather confused and not sure where Android should go from here.

Well, the Jump from GB to ICS was a big one. It changed EVERYTHING on the phone. With JB it's really mostly internal enhancements. So I don't see why the phone companies can't just go ahead and take the JB and push it into the ICS updates. (Like just modify the ICS into JB) and skip the ICS update altogether
