Title says it all. Whenever I attempt to do a backup to the external sdcard, I get a message that its unable to create the folder there. Backs up fine to internal sdcard though. The external is readable, I can install from it and write to it OK when the phone is booted, just not in twrp. I didn't have any problem with older versions of twrp. Any ideas?

Try setting a name for the backup. The external sd is fat 32, and I think the generated backup names are too long. Had the same problem on OG RAZR

Well, I could back it up but not restore it.
