Hey all,
Recently, I have been trying to build my own ROM (on the .211 kernel) from dhacker's CM9 OR AOKP ICS-leak source (either works, just need to learn one and I should be able to figure out the other). However, I have run into somewhat of a roadblock. After doing a good amount of reading, I have my environment setup and am running Ubuntu 10.04 through VirtualBox (with JDK 6 and Android SDK). I am successfully able to sync from the STS-DEV Team repository (

) using the following command:

However, when i try to run the lunch command and select my option (full_spyder) to compile, I get a message saying the "Dependencies files were not found. Bailing out". I believe I have not synced everything I need, but am not sure as to what all the necessary components are. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

In addition, I can post the steps I take to help discover if that is the issue as well.

P.S. I have a Gtalk to make life easier if anyone is willing to lend a hand.

I wish i could help you, i never have built and compiled a full rom using SDK but i have found by decompiling/recompiling apk's and themes that every single xml line has to point to a valid source weither an image or value if one little thing is missing or wrong it bails out like that. I would be very interested in helping you in any way as i would like to start building/compiling roms ect.
Don't take me too seriously, its only my opinion...

Does it fail out after that message or continue to work? I'm asking because I've seen the message and don't think its a big deal. On the CM build there is a getprebuilt script that needs to be run before a build attempt. On source you don't want the full spyder lunch menu BTW... you want to use the cm-spyder which if I'm not mistaken is menu option 9. Not sure when I'll be available tomorrow but we can catch up then if you still need a hand.
