Not sure if anyone has seen or tried this but someone from XDA has got Google Ears working on ICS roms and i can corfirm it works on ICS stock as well.
How do you even use it? I had it installed and there was no widget for it, no app, no nothing.

Didnt see an app in the drawer but the widget works great.

Push apk to system/app
Reboot
Push lib to system/lib
Reboot
Then the widget will show in the app drawer & it works just like shazam or sound hound.

Can't just use the apk. There's a lib file you have to push to system/lib as well. And it takes 2 reboots.

I didnt notice the second reboot was required as I made the mistake of not installing the library at first.

Well, I must say that Sound Search sounds much better than Google Ears!
