How do you even use it? I had it installed and there was no widget for it, no app, no nothing.

You have to push the apk into system/app i did it via root exlporer and push the library file into system/lib and change the permissions to both to (rw-r--r--) and reboot .

Didnt see an app in the drawer but the widget works great.

Edit: Both are in the first download folder.

Can't just use the apk. There's a lib file you have to push to system/lib as well. And it takes 2 reboots.
Push apk to system/app
Reboot
Push lib to system/lib
Reboot
Then the widget will show in the app drawer & it works just like shazam or sound hound.

I didnt notice the second reboot was required as I made the mistake of not installing the library at first.

Its similar to SoundHound or Shazam in that if you need to know the name of a song thats playing it will tell you and point you to the play store if you're interested in purchasing it.

In my opinion it seems to run a little quicker too.

So, Google is really trying to take over EVERYTHING. lol. I bought Soundhound Infinity and it does the job. Can't beat .99 cents for an app. Sorry, Google, I know you own my life and everything, but I think I'm sticking with Soundhound. :P

Well, I must say that Sound Search sounds much better than Google Ears!
