Say what you want spc. Lock it down man. If I can't state my opinion, then I might as well taken my opinions elsewhere. As for jimfizgerald, you always post bull$!#7 on here anyway you don't even mod your devices, but yet you come here to chastise people for doing to theirs. I expressed an opinion I had and now the thread is being threatened to be locked. As for you SpcHicks, I stood by you Through all the $!#7 you went through when y'all almost bricked a lot of people's phones permanently, and I was one of many that begged you to stay when you was going to leave, and this is how you act when I express an opinion. That's all well and good. Have a nice life, I out! Peace.

Actually, I've never chastised anyone for modding their phones. And yes, my phone is modded. I have just encouraged people not to commit warranty fraud and disagreed with your opinion that "everyone does it." I actually pay $30 a month for the hotspot feature. Now, would using VooDoo solve the OP's problem?

Easiest thing to do is to use the Utility.

Also I am returning my phone for a warranty repair, much like the OP, and Moto actually called me afterward (I'm assuming they used my IMEI to check my soak stuff) and said "Have you ever modified the software on your device?" I, honestly, replied with a yes. They said that it voided the warranty, and I replied that hardware issues with my phone do not have to do with the software as my phone is still having the problem after being returned to stock. They said if I send it in completely stock (they will check) I won't have to pay for an out of warranty repair. Hence - this is not any case of "fraud." Moto themselves acknowledge RSD and the like, anyone in the soak can tell you that. If your phone is stock when it's sent in they have nothing to whine about.

So, that should put this argument to rest. If you overheat your phone from overvolting or something and it melts the plastic that's one thing, but if you get stuck pixels that are irrelevant to your software changes then you are DEFINITELY entitled to a warranty repair like everyone else, just return to stock to avoid any hassle.

I appreciate you getting this out in the open. Unfortunately I'm just not convinced that Hicks can handle being a moderator. I don't think he has the maturity level required to play that role. He seems to be getting worse too. I have serious doubts that he will stop accusing people of committing a crime when there is no crime. There are no negative consequences for him to continue treating people like this, and if I try to stop him I'll get threatened, disrespected, and possibly banned. Hopefully others will watch him and speak out too. Eventually he'll either be forced to stop his behavior or there will be a mass exodus away from here. Regardless, I will now be a constant target of his no matter what I have to say here, and I just don't have the energy to go through that.

It's not mine but I found this on ebay and well, I'm too damn broke to buy it because the government doesn't want to pay squat to their soldiers lol.

One last thing. I'm trying to figure out why you tweeted to VZW support saying you needed a replacement RAZR. Something isn't adding up here. On April 29 you were too broke to afford $250 for a Maxx. Then on April 30 you say you have a replacement on the way. On May 1 you confirmed you were running the 84 leak. And finally on May 3 you have your new phone because you are back on Black Widow which was a GB rom. Now looking at your twitter feed from the same time frame, you tell Verizon you installed a "software update." The 84 leak was never an official update from Moto but you don't seem to make that clear. You tell them that you need a replacement RAZR. At the end you proclaim how great VZW support is.

What doesn't make sense to me is, why would you be so ecstatic about paying full price for a new phone? And just a few days prior you were too broke to buy a $250 phone? And why would you refer to it as a replacement phone if you were paying full price and not returning the phone that was stuck on 84? Now in the post below here for June 4, you are contemplating installing a leaked ICS rom and you are still on 181. No mention of having a second phone. If you had 2 RAZRs there wouldn't even be any debate. You could have one on leaks and the other on 181.

Did you make either a warranty claim or insurance claim to Verizon for your phone that was stuck on 84? If that is true, how can you possibly be harassing others about turning in false claims? I hope this isn't true.

Enough! DDX has stated that things were going to be looked at and taken care of. He also stated to get back on topic and no more personal attacks or the thread would be locked again. I am not sure what part of what he said was not understood. Instead of heeding his words and and getting back on topic, this back and forth crap has begun again. Instead of just going about your day and letting the Admins and SMods take care of things, a post is made which was unnecessary and even a blind man could see what would happen next. This is getting old and does not sit well with me or any of the other team members and needs to stop. Agree to disagree and move on. These personal attacks will not be tolerated.
