Can't create backup because twrp can't create folder on external sd

I can backup to internal no problem and already have a backup on external I did for my previous ROM. Also file explorer can't move the file either which is really making me scratch my head.

Did you change the name so it was shorter?  The pre-generated name is too long and won't allow the backup to be saved to the external.

No didn't but will give that a try. Thanks

No problem.  I've seen a few people run into this problem and changing the name helped.

I've never understood this one. Seems like a common problem that could readily be fixed.
