I posted the fix for the sdcard in an earlier post. Edit the /etc/permissions/platform.xml and add the line to fix the problem.

I didn't see the fix.... sorry I'm new at this. what do you mean by add the line? I found the platform.xml document but I don't understand what I'm adding or changing. Thank you for your help, appreciated.

thanks for this. It installed but I'm just getting the black screen. I saw on xda this is a common thing though. Are you able to use this?

Hey all. First I want to apologize if this has been answered already.
I used flashify to update twrp on my girls 16g HD which is currently running 4.3 cm and I want to put kk on it. But in twrp when I chose to make a backup of 4.3 on the SD card it fails saying it fails to write the folder twrp/backups,.... Any suggestions? Thanks in advance

I dirty flashed over the 11/8 build and I lost my keyboard....got it back by going into Settings and just changing some things and the keyboard was back

check the memory make sure you have enough left. I can't think if anything else. What Twrp did update to.. 2.6.3 i am assuming.

Yes 263 and there is memory left. Someone in the twrp thread suggested changing the auto generated backup name because it may be too long. Haven't tried that yet tho

There has been name length issues .... if you shorten the backup name / directory it may work.....

Downloaded the newest AOSP build.  Unlocked RAZR MAXX HD xt926, running TWRP 2.6.3.

 

I am wiping the davlik, cache, system, and data.

 

Then when I try to install downloaded aosp zip package, I am getting Flash Failure every time.  Anyone else having this problem?!?

 

After the flash failure, I am not able to restore, until I reboot back into recovery where I can then recover from backup.

 

I have tried this about 3 times, and it just won't flash.

make sure the mount system isn't checked. The zip will do it for you. That was my problem one time
