DO NOT USE Motochopper 1.3.  It will not work, PLUS it attempts to flash the improper Boot.img to your device.  You should reflash the fastboot files you posted.

There is no root for 94, period.  If you lost it, you are out of luck at this time.

Do you have an unlocked bootloader? If so, then you can root the latest OTA by flashing it via twrp.

Go to the SamuriHL 's House of Moto forum on this site and look for the "House of Moto ROOT for *UNLOCKED* Devices" (you can search for that directly as I'm typing from Tapatalk so I can't easily copy and paste the link).

Download and unzip the file in that thread and drop the twrp image (from Matt's HD Utilities or any other TWRP or CWM image but use the latest) into the unzipped directory and run the run.bat file. It will flash TWRP for you, then reboot into twrp and sideload the SU binary then reboot and then you are rooted.

Remember, this is IF you have an unlocked bootloader. If not, then you'll have to wait and see if someone can find an exploit to allow rooting for locked bootloader devices.

I've not heard back from him so I don't know if he's actively looking into it or not.  As I mentioned, I'd not get my hopes up.  I just like to explore all possible avenues for you guys.  I'll only add that if you care about root, then in the future buy unlocked phones.  Root exploits are becoming harder and harder to come by.
