Hi. I recently lost all sound from videos and music files. Speaker phone, boot sounds, and notifications all work. But, when playing a Netflix, YouTube or mp3's I get no sound. If I attach headphones, the sound is playing.

9.18.79, XT926, rooted and unlocked.

Any ideas are appreciated. Thanks.

May sound silly but have you checked the "media" volume level in settings..... or hit the volume rocker during playback of media Also...... do you use any of the "audio mods" available?..... if so, some settings could be "off" there as well.....

Ah, feeling silly... Figured it out. I was playing music through my Bluetooth stereo and it must have glitched on exit because everything was attached to output to that device even though it was off. Reboot didn't even fix it. But, while trying to play a music file, I found the drop down to select devices and de-selected the Bluetooth device and that fixed it. Thanks fit the reply. Glad you got it ...... and actually you shouldn't feel silly about that...... that is an easy mistake to make ...... but its great that you found the solution :)
