I have a Razr maxx hd and I accidentaly accepted the update and am running 9.18.94 Jb 4.1.2. I was rooted and unlocked before and I am now locked and unrooted. I knew this would happen if the update was accepted but it was in my pocket and accepted the update and I didn't realize until it was to late. I am trying to flash back to stock so I can root and get cynogenmod. Does anyone know of a way to flash this version back to shipping version or a way to root the device? I am getting despreate. I miss my free wifitether.

Simply put, if you were in fact unlocked, you should still be unlocked ... then root is a matter of flashing recovery then root..... if you are indeed locked.... as of now there is no known root method......

Um, you are on Stock......as John stated, if you were really unlocked before, then you are still unlocked since they cant relock you. If you were NOT unlocked, and took the update and lost root, well sorry but you lost root.

You can try to use Sam's House of Moto... and FXZ to the current system version (stock) ...... we have seen a "glitch" with the current update that if not completely successful, it will show that you are locked..... a full FXZ should fix it....
