When I had GB, my Razr Maxx would make phone calls, send and receive text, send and receive email, and browse the internet. It would also run a bunch of apps. Now that I have ICS, my Razr Maxx will make phone calls, send and receive text, send and receive email, and browse the internet. It will also run a bunch of apps. When we get JB, I assume my Razr Maxx will make phone calls, send and receive text, send and receive email, and browse the internet. It should also run a bunch of apps. What the hell difference does it make if the phone looks a little different and things are rearranged a little?

It matters not if you have no interest in such things.

When two baseball teams play, does it matter who wins? What's the difference? Either way, its still a boring, effing game. (Or football, or basketball, etc.....)

I hate it when people have nothing more intelligent to add to a thread than "+1". That said:

+1.

Jelly Bean will come in the fullness of time. We already have a .214 leak of ICS, showing Moto has not abandoned the RAZR. I expect to see more ICS leaks, then eventually a JB leak. Patience.

lmao but gotta admit.. this is what it is. Therefore... +1 lol

Unless the 5 has a huge battery, you'll face the same issues. At least with Android, you can modify and tweak to get better battery life. I've owned both and prefer droids

This is very true with the iPhone. There are at least 8 people I personally know and work with that have iPhones. At any given time through out the day they have the charging. This seems to be especially true with the guys that have the 4S. I've seen a couple with the 4S have to charge after being at work for 4 of 5 hours because they are at 40% at that time. Now I'm not sure what they are doing to kill the battery that fast but it does seem that the iPhone battery is no better than what we have already a d in some cases it seems much worse.

I want jelly bean as well. And I definitely want something like siri for my phone. My parents just got an iphone and I'll be honest I'm heavily considering getting an iphone 5 when they're released. I mean I'll be honest 1 of the biggest reasons I'm considering an iphone is because all of my android phones have had $!#7ty battery life. But I won't be considering other phones until my upgrade comes.

Considering the OG Razr blows away the battery on the 4s, that would mean it is exactly what you don't want. Android has long been the preferred system for battery life due to being available on higher end hardware and having plenty of phone choices that allow for extended/interchangeable batteries.

Okay I now have two gnex's. Running Team Liquid's Vicious 4.1.1 ROMS with Faux kernels. Aside from the fluidity of the homescreen and app drawer, you're really not missing much.

A lot of apps aren't compatible with JB...I mean A LOT....certain apps lag worse with JB than ICS or GB.....don't get me wrong, my iphone friends/coworkers are impressed with the new found buttery goodness of JB...but it's a battery killer and virtually ICS under the cover of the homescreen and app drawer.

Just have some patience guys. DT, DH, Nitro, etc all have Gnex ROMS out and will have Gnex ports for the Razr. DH already has an alpha build and I'm sure he will impress when it bumps to beta or stable. Normally DT's betas are more than good enough for daily drivers so just be patient, and remember you're not missing THAT MUCH.

Well, now we have ICS. Isn't it wonderful. Now I get to see all the updates for jelly bean fixes for all (nearly) my apps. I hope Big Red feels like a huge dork now.

So you're upset because you see updates to software for JB? Really? I mean, ICS updates for software was coming out way before ICS was officially on anything including the Nexus.

It is what it is.

Be patient. We just got ICS. I'm sure we'll get JB since it's ICS-based. Remember, we're on Android 4.0.4. JB is Android 4.1. It's not a major upgrade like going from GB to ICS.

Not sure I see the point of this post. Unless you buy a Nexus you will never have the latest and greatest OS days after it is released. Haven't we done enough Verizon/Moto bashing on here. Can't we all just enjoy the phones we have.

You know no one will ever be happy with what they have. LOL

I agree with this statement. We'll get JB and these same people will be asking why they don't have what's next... Put it simply. It you wanted to always have the latest and greatest software when it comes out you should have gotten a nexus.

All I'm really looking for is google now. I love ics but certain apps still don't play well (ie hancent doesn't show any contact pictures no matter where they come from).
