How do you get the battery meter to come on at boot from a power off state. I need to hit the power button 2 time to start my phone after power off charge. Guy told me this was normal but it did not do this in gingerbread. Now with ICS installed it takes 2 times on the power to start. He said the first push was for the power meter but I cannot get it to work please help..

Power off phone.
Plug phone into wall outlet. Not USB.
Should get what kinda looks like a normal power up with the M logo.
Pres the power button once after about 45 seconds and wait. The battery should come up.
Pres the power button twice to boot up.
a what? an android? whats that?

It take two times to start. Maybe it is a bug with ICS or my phone. Do you power your phone off to charge?

You can just long press power in charge only mode to boot. You can also hit the "clear" soft key to turn off screen.

Thanks guy for the help..I went to the verizon store and tryed 2-3 phones and they did the samething, I shut them down with the charger pluged in, then unpluged the charger hit the power and NO START then push the second time and fired right up so with that said it must be normal or a bug that came with ICS..
