When I view my videos, they all have these strange sporadic, audible "pops". I am rooted. I have tried a factory reset several times and reinstalled several different Roms but nothing seems to work. Any ideas?

Where's your media? If it's on your card I would try reseating the card. Worst case, pull all your media to your internal storage & see if it continues. If not, reformat/replace your card.

My og droid had a short circuit so calls only worked on speaker, music was always staticy, no BT, screen kinda stopped working, might need a new device, that was the only way I could fix it.

I tried sending the videos to internal storage and the issue persists. I installed a sound recorder and the playback is flawless. I googled the crap outta this and noone else seems to be having a similar issue. Hmm?

Have you tried transferring them to your computer and checking them there? It could rule out a lot.

Then you have corrupted media and you need to red download it or get it again.

Sorry for my noobishness, but I'm not sure what that means.

My guess is your media has a glitch or a missing link or a bug, its not the "real" or "/authentic" media.

I see what you're saying. I have flashed several different ROMs over the past few weeks. I wonder if it's possible that the some ROMs use currently installed media instead of installing their own? Thanks a lot, by the way.

Try going back to stock. It should clear everything up too.

Sounds like something I had a while back on my DX. Turned out to be one glitched video on the card causing everything else to no show right.
