Been running a custom bootanimation that I am building for about a week with no issues. WEnt to show it to a coworker today and there was no sound. Worked fine with last boot 2 days ago.
Troubleshooting steps taken to this point:
- multiple reboots
- browsed to sound file and played using WinAmp ... played with no problem
- checked desc.txt and verified correct sound file is referenced
- copied/replaced both bootnimation.zip and sound.ogg files
- switched back to stock bootanimation ... no sound either
Suggestions?

Did you change kernels recently?
No. Only other changes were a couple of google store app updates.

Issue resolved. My fat fingers put me in vib mode on the phone options screen when powering down.
