Anybody have any GPS Tweaks to help lock the GPS location quicker. I know some of the ROMs out there have them but anything we can incorporate into any ROM... even stock rooted?

Faster GPS for free on the market does the same tweaks, much more conveniently.
I set it up and am getting fast locks, however I have always gotten a fast lock so that is nothing new. It also saves your original gps.conf to easily restore it later should it give you issues.

Can you post the apk? Says it's not compatible with my device

Thanks. I was able to install on my tablet but the app is different than this one. I'll give this a go.

I'm on .215 kernel and simplexrom and after using the navi all day today I noticed there really is no need for GPS tweaks. It locks on within 3 seconds TOPS. Good replies but for now I don't see the need for GPS tweaks the way my phone is running.

I'm on the new simple rom too. It must be hit or miss cause I'm a 215 and GPS takes forever to lock. I usually have to toggle it on and off if it hasn't locked after first turning it on. Had this problem on every rom even stock

Did you make sure you are outdoors and not in a building
