Once the possibility exists for a custom kernel to be ran on our device, would it be possible to have a kernel level hdmi mirror implemented? Programs for previous Android versions existed to defeat HBO,NFL,Netflix, etc protection, but none for ics. It's more of a thought instead of a question.

I kind of see what you're saying. No to the kernel mirror since we don't even have a kernel to mess with ATM, and possibly to bypass those companies to watch their stuff? I'm not sure.
