Thanks for the heads up, unfortunately I found out about this one the hard way. Ending up fastbooting 211, upgrading to 215 leak, then flashing your rom on my safe side. At least I have a clean slate now! For the mean time, I'm using Safestrap 2.0
This happened to me too. Had to reflash my safe side.

Thanks for posting this.
This is where I would tell you which ROM I'm running, but I probably just flashed something else.

Phone went dead, went to charge, tuned on, and it booted with my stock bootani. I was like 0_0, then i went to try and restart.
No dice. I had to restart :'(

Did anyone notice if it was reliant on being plugged into an ac charger or a usb charger? I could swear the first day I had 2.01 I was able to reboot plugged into my laptop but then when I plugged into the wall it did the boot loop. Can anyone else confirm?
Usb to a computer is fine. Usb to wall charger no go! Lol

so nand restore (full) seems to do the trick.

same here but i didn't restore backup just rebooted unplugged, been fine ever sinceI was usb-wall earlier today & when I saw stock boot anim I immed forced reboot, w/power & vol down, it then went into safe & to be sure did restore of a nand I had just made, no probs since…
so nand restore (full) seems to do the trick.

I didn't add something else, to make my commets brief,
but after forced reboot, I did get back to my Maxx booting to safe side;
but…
it flashed a msg that android was updating / installing (forgot which) the os & proceeded to update / install about 160 files!
You didn't get that Coltrane?

That more than likely has something to do with your dalvik cache. Anytime you delete it you'll get that message as it rebuilds the cache. Not sure what happened with yours but I'm guessing that's what it was doing.it flashed a msg that android was updating / installing (forgot which) the os & proceeded to update / install about 160 files!

now I'd like to understand what happened & I'll better understand for the future…
if the crash-effect of robooting while plugged into the wall on SS 2.01 caused this, how, based on the circumstances, did dalvik cache get deleted & seemingly only in part, b/c the real update to 211 gave >300 files being installed msg after rebooting

I've rebooted my phone a couple of times since the SS update has been out while my phone was in the car dock & one the times was when i was out working in the field on my way to a customer so i would have been totally screwed.
Thanks for the heads up about this.
