Hey guys, I don't know if this is an acceptable spot to post this question, if so im sorry. But, I just flashed simpex rom, was just wondering how i would change the font style.

One might say its easier said than done. I will pose this question first: how comfortable are you with editing Android System files?

Uh, not very. If I have to do that, I'd honestly just keep it the way it is. Unless there's an app that lets me change it,

Yep... Rom toolbox bootlooped my razr.. Sucks, worked great with my X.. Frozen for now...and pray to not eat boot-loops for breakfast

well I haven't tried changing fonts with it on my razr... but the other day I was bored and tried to change my wifi icon and it bootlooped, perhaps changing fonts works fine but you wont see me trying lol

Also bootlooped with ROM toolbox. I have used a flashable zip with better luck. Well, the only time I tried it, it worked.

I want to change the font on my phone as well but idk what font to replace. I am perfectly comfortable deleting system files and stuff, I know how it all works. Which file dictates the main font? I replaced DroidSans but it looked like nothing changed. And which one is the keyboard font?

I've tryed a lot of fonts with rom toolbox and never had an issue. Strange....

I'd rather not risk it because I really don't feel like setting everything all up again. Could do a backup though I guess, it also doesn't have the font I want though.

Im pretty sure you could import a ttf to wherever the files are kept

I get it working, I have Sony sketch now which looks sick and think when I get time I'm gonna make a flash able zip of the font

I found out how to install fonts on my phone with ROM toolbox...it works great...have not had a bootloop or any other type of problems. Thanks for all the suggestions.
