Right, but I want to know as of right now how much would it cost to convert my whole family to that plan?

Or keep what you have and buy used. Myself, I'll never buy new again.

Why don't you call verizon and find out from the horses mouth then? Or you can go to their website. It's easy to figure out.

Again lol, craigslist or eBay. Even www.swappa.com has a lot of good phones too.

If you sell a phone, like say a maxx, you will come close to covering the expense of a phone on swappa or craiglist. I then tablets are way overpriced on swappa.... $300+ for old used up tablets.
a what? an android? whats that?

They're more expensive because you're buying them WITHOUT a contract. It would be cheaper to buy a phone from one of the sites I listed, than it would be to renew your contract, buy a phone with discount through Verizon, pay the upgrade fee, start paying more for data and so on and so on.

Take it for what it's worth but it's very rare that people actually save money going to a "share everything" or "tiered data" plan.

Also might wanna think about asking for a Certified Pre-Owned device? You still get the 1 year warranty. There a little more than half the cost of full retail brand new. And shouldn't affect your contract.

I never bought on swappa but I did sell 2 there. It's a pretty nice setup and you can some serious bank buying lightly used.

These phone depreciate like crazy. In most cases almost 50% of their retail value within a few months of release.

I won't buy new again, either. Plus it gives you the upper hand with your contract and VZW.
