Any ideas? I'm following his instructions exactly and I've tried two separate computers.

Okay, just double check that under developer options you have usb debugging enabled

Aside from that, if drivers are installed, MTP mode is set, then wipe your data and it should work. Motorola made bugged drivers with the ICS update that requires a data wipe sometimes. It's documented on MotoDev

Yes but only do that if nothing else works.

Hey guys. New member here. Resurrecting this old thread to ask your help rooting my Razr [xt912] Android 4.04

usb debugging enabled
connecting MTP

when I run the batch file, I get the message daemon is starting.. then nothing.

I believe my issue has something to do with the moto drivers, but I'm not sure. I've installed "Motorola_End_User_Driver_Installation_5.2.0_32bit.msi" on a Vista machine and an XP machine with no difference.
