I just ordered my Razr Maxx yesterday as well as the factory cable from ebay (

).
I was just wondering if it would be recommended to use the factory cable whenever I am running backups or flashing a new rom and whatnots.
I dont want to risk bricking. Although I know it can easily be fixed with RSD + factory cable
Are there any adverse effects to using the cable too much?
I doubt there are I just wanted to get some of you guys' opinions.

you can always use the factory cable to program your phone its fine to use it as such.. however it wont charge or help you phone other than that. only adverse effects would be that it could wear out in time lol
