Personally I like to use Pure Calendar Widget along with the stock Motorola calendar. And also Smooth Calendar widget. Here I'll post a screen shot in a second.

The top little widget is the smooth calendar and the bottom is the pure calendar widget. I just like being able to tell my days off quickly, and the smooth tells me my next 3 entries.

I used to use Pure Calendar but Android Pro Widgets has a much nicer calendar widget for my use. When I first purchased APW it was for something else but I am now using several of the included widgets. All are easy to configure for my personal use.

I prefer the Google calendar. I really like the "Agenda" layout. As I am retired (for quite a long time now...) I don't have to be concerned with work/vacation/meeting schedules, so the Google calendar is perfect for tracking Dr. Appointments for my wife and I as well as social events. I had been using Forte and the Motorola default calendar, and as they had changed their formats over the past months, they no longer come close to meeting my needs.

As usual....your mileage may vary.

Merry Christmas !!!

I like/use CalenGoo because it's the only one I found that shows the age of the person for birthdays, anniversaries and yearly events. Business calendar is my second favorite.

Ever since Google Calendar has been updated, I've ditched all the 3rd party calendar apps and use the agenda view widget. I use it on both my Bionic and my Nexus 7.
Just having fun with Android!

For a widget I use Simple Calendar Widget. Lots of customizing available. It's scrolls as well.
