Also, i think the battery is dead. when i plug it into the charger the "M" pops up and it stays until i unplug it. Please help. I don't know what os version is on it and I'm Freaking out!!!

Hold down power and volumn- buttons to reset the phone, when the screen turns off hold power and volumn+ buttons. Select recovery from the menu that comes up then when the DROID guy pops up hit both volume buttons and then select data wipe/factory reset

Thank you for the quick reply. My first try at reset was was at a powered off state. Nothing happened. Then I connected it to my non-usb wall charger. Immediatly, the "M" splash screen loads. I held down VOLUME UP & VOLUME DOWN for five seconds. The splash screen remained. I then held them down for ten seconds with the same result. I unplugged the charger at that point and the screen zapped to black (Like a tube TV does if you pull the plug).

I attemted the same action with the original usb charger plugged into the wall. A white light quickly flashed once. The "M" splash screen loaded with identical results to the non-usb charger.

I connected the razr to my computer with the original usb cable. The white light came on and stayed on. At reset, the white remained, and nothing loaded on the display.

I then, out of despiration and a bit of curiosity, pushed and held VOLUME UP, VOLUME DOWN & POWER for about 10 seconds. A the white light went out. and a boot menu loaded. That's where I am now. I will appriciate any help you can give me.

Thank you so much!

UPDATE: The screen went blank from the boot menu after about five minutes. It appeared that the battery had dies. I connected the non-usb charger and the "M" splash screen loaded. That's where I am now.

Okay, hold down the power and volume down buttons until your screen goes off. Then hold all buttons and it should get you back to that menu

From the boot menu I pushed and held the VOLUME UP & DOWN for fifteen seconds. The screen shut off. It is still connected to the computer.

[Windows]-For-Verizon-Droid-Razr/maxx-Only!

Unzip it and run it.

Try booting your phone again, you should get stuck again. Hold power and volume down, then all buttons when you get to that menu again use volume down to highlight "ap fastboot" and volume up to select it.

The phone would not power up. No white light. I tried twice. I unplugged it from the computer and connected the non-usb charger. The splash screen loaded.

It appears as though the battery is dead. It has been connected to the computer for at least two hours. Past experience leans me to percive power is recieved to the motherboard in one way or another. Though I recognize that is not the case in any post in the droidrzr forum.

I unplugged the phone from the non-usb charger and it shut off. I held down VOLUME UP & DOWN. The splash screen loaded and has remained for about five minutes.

I connected to the computer about five minutes ago. The white light came on and stayed on for all five minutes. I attempted to enter the boot menu. It worked. I selected AP Fastboot and a low charge messege loaded. At that point it lost power.
