This app has been removed from the play store, but I have the apk backed up. I have found just about every song I have ever searched for using this app. You can preview the song before you download. I thought some of you may find it useful.

For terms if most forums, "Piracy" means posting links to paid apps for free. If this was a free app, is it still considered "piracy"?

What about free apk's that won't install from market on your phone (country restrictions...)? Sometimes market says it isn't available for your device, but it will work perfectly well...I had the issue on my daughters phone. I put apk on my laptop, and it installed without a problem. (I think it was "Tiny Tunes" trial version....Wasn't showing in Droid 2 market place, but did on my OG Droid...)

I didn't think that was piracy....

I've had apps in the past that released free music that claimed to get the songs from free sources so I wouldn't go as far to say as any app that allows music for free is pirating.

Dude, I didn't DL this app so I can't say, but unless you didn't read, I have had apps that source music from legit places so it's not piracy. Can you as one way or the other if this app is stealing? Maybe it is, maybe it isn't. I don't know, I didn't check. Did you? Stop being the internet police, it's really lame. I'm done here.

If you can get the music for free, it is piracy. In fact, my friend is a music lawyer and I checked with her. It is illegal

Those are officially licensed services that allow you to stream music, not download it. Very different.

I don't give a big fat damn what it is. I use it, and it's there for you to use if you desire. If not, don't. If the mods determine it's against site policy, then by all means delete the thread.

It's fine if you use it. But posting links to an app used for piracy could indirectly get the forum in legal trouble for aiding in the download of an app used for piracy. Chances are if it was removed from the play store it's probably illegal.
