And no, afak, I don't think there's really any plan to root the M... at least the consumer's version anyway. I hope that at this price point, there will be enough users and interests for developers to mess with it. I don't want to pay full price for the developer's version. I already spent on the new iPhone 5 this week, lol.

The Developer Editions yes. I do not believe the retail will get rooted. 99% chance it will stay unrootable.Oh no! It can't be rooted? That doesn't sound good at all. Will the hd maxx be root able? I was looking forward to getting the new HD MAXX... I'm pissed off.

Thanks Matt. I'll be happy if I just get JB and Google Now in the near future. The size of this phone is so darn appealing that I'm willing to forego the dozen of root apps I've been using. Plus, I'll still have the Maxx to mess with. Thanks for all you do.

You would have to order the Developer's Edition of the M or the Razr HD directly from Motorola at full price. Verizon doesn't carry those.

Is GoGGle Now a new app specific to JB? Haven't heard of that one.
Yes, it came with JB. However, you can manually flash it if your phone is rooted, or it also comes with several custom ROMs. What it is is a Google search assistant. While it can vocally respond to your search requests, it is not like Siri since it does not carry on a conversation.

LOL, yes I know what "Google Now" is. I was being a D_ckhead and trying to be funny about your thread title which is "goGGle now".

Funny, I didn't know there was a mis-spell.

I'll double check with the wifey tonight, but I think she's getting thru the day with no problems. She hasn't complained yet anyway. She's probably on the light side of moderate usage though.Any real world battery comparisons between the RAZR Maxx and the RAZR M? Will the M last a full day with moderate usage?
