I'll double check with the wifey tonight, but I think she's getting thru the day with no problems. She hasn't complained yet anyway. She's probably on the light side of moderate usage though.

She was at 38% after about 14 hours. A few phone calls, texts and some web surfing. That's all on cellular data in a very weak 3g area so I'm sure a strong 3g/4g or wifi connection would improve it substantially.

Oh no! It can't be rooted? That doesn't sound good at all. Will the hd maxx be root able? I was looking forward to getting the new HD MAXX... I'm pissed off.

The Developer Editions yes. I do not believe the retail will get rooted. 99% chance it will stay unrootable.

:-( :-( :-( But come to think of it.... I would be full retail for phone to keep my unlimited data plan anyway.... looks like a Developer Edition maybe be in my future. That is IF I decide to go over to the MAX HD.
