Is there a way to hack .211 to have 7 home screens instead of JUST 5?

You can use a different launcher like apex, then you can have as many as you want.

I know about Apex but wanted to hack the 2.11

Personally I don't know what's so great about stock home screen. There are so many alternatives and IMO most are better since they have more customizeable features and a more stock android look

I've been trying to do just that on and off for the past few days. I actually really like the stock launcher, and it seems much quicker than ADW EX, but the number of screens and icon spacing are a problem. I've read bunch of postings on web sites on how to do this in ICS, but nothing applies to the Moto launcher on the Razr. I have even decompiled a bunch of files (framework-res.apk, HomeConfig.apk, homescreen.apk, and MotoAtLauncher.apk), but still haven't figured out how yet. Anyone else have any luck?
