Not the first phone to achieve 2Ghz by any means, the Snapdragon S4 can handle OC to 2.1Ghz no problem.

It's the first processor that is stable and certified to run at 2.0 Ghz and not all Snapdragon S4s will be able to handle 2.1Ghz.

but what's the point in having a single core 2GHz processor that underperforms all current mid-ranged phones
There isn't one. 2 big brand names have come together and that's what most people care about. They don't really care about specs, they care about the brand.

It's a big stepping point for Intel's entry into the market. Its not targeted towards someone who wants the best phone possible and it isn't marketed to others like you who want 5 Ghz 8 core CPU phones lolbut what's the point in having a single core 2GHz processor that underperforms all current mid-ranged phones
Please do not Personal Message me for help or troubleshooting. They will be ignored. Post in threads or start one in Q&A sections.
