Or, you know, get the adapter I sent you a page for that costs what, 10 bucks?  Or fix the battery issue.  There are ways to fix your phone.  Sending it back to VZW and telling them that the OTA broke it when that is not what happened is not really the way to go and why warranties suck these days.

Yeah well I think my phone is done it had enough battery and now its detecting it as QHSUSB_DLOAD

Yeah..... That's not good...... Before you can even attempt anything else.... You NEED a factory cable or adapter..... Even then, AFAIK .... Its not likely to recover...... I could be wrong, but I have not personally seen one recover .........

Not to be a total jerk, but this could have been avoided with some patience.

There was no way to charge it. How could I avoid it if I had it charging all day today

It's too late now.  Nothing can really be done at this point.

It's water under the bridge; lessons learned.  You know what to do and not do now, take that with you when you get your new device.

The team black hat adapter that was mentioned earlier is really what you needed to do. Or to make your own factory cable.

With QHSUSB_DLOAD I don't think it's going to matter.  As John said, we've never seen a phone come out of that state.  Flashing with a low battery is always dangerous.

Not to mention, they usually arrive in 2 days or less.  I swear TBH uses Amazon's shipping infrastructure. ;)

It may have gone low in the middle of the flash.

Yup.  The simple fact is, we've never seen a phone come back from that error.  Something bad happened when flashing.

Yeah. I meant as soon as he got the first battery low warning. I've seen , and I'm sure you have too, them go from low to ok just by turning off and back on when obviously they weren't charged. Just not worth the risk.

Yup.  I don't think it fully charged even though it claimed it was.  It sucks.  There's not much we can do now, though.  :(

Yeah..... The fee will probably be the retail price of a new phone....... However.... You can pick up a new motherboard for the phone for $50-150 on eBay...... It'll be cheaper than a new phone.....

I've searched for days looking for an answer to flashing my xt907 in order to update to KitKat.  I even tried other ways with no success.  This worked like a charm.
