Here is the RaZr bootanimation but instead of red its blue.

Download the file named "bootanimation.zip" make sure you are rooted and copy bootanimation.zip into your ext/int sd-card.

Using a rooted file explorer navigate to /system/media you will see a file in there called "bootanimation.zip" also using whatever file explorer (I prefer ES File Explorer, free and great root support)

now rename the exisintg "bootanimation.zip" to "bootanimation.zip.bak" this way we are keeping original bootanimation file just making into a backup. (this is a good practice instead of deleting bloat just rename it to file.apk.bak)

Using your root file explorer now, navigate to where you placed the downloaded "bootanimation.zip" and copy it then paste it into /system/media and thats it...restart and enjoy.

You can also ADB push and all that other stuff to replace existing file, this way is just simple and operates like windows/mac freindly UI.

If for some reason it does not work you can just go back into /system/media and delete new "bootanimation.xip" and remove .bak from original to restore.

Not sure if you knew this but The Arctic ROM already made a blue version which is much higher quality and not so strongly blue. Go take a look in the dev section and check it out.

i'm liking both blues...does this just use the regular .ogg file in the /system/media folder?

I did a blue one a while back for one of my themes on droidx and a violet bootanimation for another theme. If anyone is interested in the violet one pm me and ill link you to drop box.

IT happens to the best of us!!! :-) If it helps, I like your color blue better. It's deeper, where as Arctic is more Icy. They're both very good. Perhaps another project would be to make them in other Colors too -- Someone mentioned Violet as a good one. I honestly would love a green one.

I know this thread is a couple months old, but I wanted to say thank you all for these boot animations!

As far as this violet one, though- the DropBox link isn't good anymore and I was wondering if it could be hosted again somewhere... I would appreciate it!
