Sorry for the noob question, but I keep seeing the expression "full wipe" when talking about flashing a new ROM. It's important. What exactly does it mean? Formatting which file systems? I'm sure they aren't talking about formatting "/".

Thanks in advance,

Larry Geary

A wipe for installing ROMs includes:

Wipe Data/Factory Reset
Wipe Cache
Format /system
Wipe Dalvik Cache

A full full wipe is called "fast boot recovery" and uses RSD Lite to send you back to stock 6.11.744 the way it was out of the box. I have a guide for this under How To`s.
