Is it possible to get Miracast support on kitkat short of downgrading to 9.18.79 and installing a rom?
Perhaps with an app from the Play store?
We all know it's possible because CyanogenMod has stable builds for the Razr HD that support Miracast...

If you're on KK and a locked BL, you won't be able to downgrade anyway. As for MiraCast support otherwise, I'm not sure what to tell you.
