In about two weeks I'm leaving for the Philippines and I was wondering if I can use my Droid Razr M there with a GSM sim card. I'm currently unlocked and rooted running a 4.2.2 ROM. Any assistance would be great.

Oh so it does vary on custom roms? I'm currently in the U.S. and purchased a Globe sim for my phone. My brother did the same for his iPhone 5S and his works. I guess I'll have to go to stock for a bit to see if it works. I'm currently running the 4.2.2 of CM.

Some users have reported full functionality (to the extent possible) while on GSM networks abroad, while others have had to revert to stock to be able to "run with it"........
